There is also a newly-remodeled transit hub with both city rail service onsite. You can always find a spot.no matter how crowded it is. There is plenty of free parking all around the mall. Also.the fact that Minnesota doesn't charge tax on clothing.or.shoes.is a huge draw for people. Obviously.there is an insane amount of variety to be found.everything from clothing.to dining.to top-notch entertainment some. It's been interesting to see it over the years. Other times.we can easily spend the day on eing a film.just browsing. Sometimes it's a quick stop.for either a particular item.or.a meal. Living so close to the mall.we visit here very regularly. But the log flume doesn't open until noon, so I rode everything I wanted to, had lunch and did some shopping in the mall, then came back for the log flume and another go on the Pepsi Orange Streak. I was able to ride everything in the first two hours of the day (10-12) and it got markedly more crowded after noon. But either way, you can either buy or redeem your ticket at an automatic kiosk and it will print out a wristband for you. I'm not sure it's worth buying ahead online - there was a processing fee that I'm not sure applys in person. But it's a lot of fun with a good mix of rides for kids and teens/adults. Especially since you can get into Valley Fair for only $30-40. I do think it's a little overpriced for what it is. Great amusement park - and so nice to ride roller coasters in the indoors and air conditioning! It really blows my mind that there's even a log flume in here - and it's one of the best rides in the park! Pepsi Orange Streak is nice and zoomy, no big drops, Spongebob Rock Bottom Plunge is ALL drop, and it's a hoot to have all these rides take you ride up to the atrium ceiling.
